Company Mission to Poland Opens Up New Cooperation Opportunities

As part of a business mission to Poland, a company from Saxony-Anhalt took part in a conference with accompanying B2B matchmaking in Olsztyn. The initiative aimed to attract investors and cooperation partners for the dynamically developing region in northeastern Poland. The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) served as the key platform for connecting businesses, organizing the event through close cooperation between its partners in Poland and Saxony-Anhalt.

The organization of the B2B matchmaking was led by the EEN colleagues in Olsztyn. Parallel to the conference, this provided participating companies with the opportunity to meet potential business partners in a targeted manner. The main objective was to facilitate access to new markets and support the economic development of the region.

To ensure qualified business participation, the Polish EEN colleagues reached out to the Enterprise Europe Network Saxony-Anhalt. Together, both consortia identified suitable companies from their respective networks and explored potential cooperation opportunities. The company Algenfarm Klötze registered for participation. In preparation for the event, the two teams jointly researched possible partners on the Polish side to be invited to the B2B meetings. The goals and background of potential collaborations were defined in advance together with the client.

The conference in Olsztyn focused on cooperation between Polish and German-speaking companies. Expert presentations and discussion panels addressed current challenges and opportunities for bilateral collaboration. The B2B matchmaking that followed gave participating companies the chance to explore concrete cooperation opportunities in 20-minute one-on-one meetings. These discussions took place in a structured setting and were supported by both EEN teams.

The personal meetings proved constructive and promising. Initial expressions of interest for further cooperation were made, and the participating companies signaled their willingness to build on the established contacts and take next steps. The involved EEN teams will continue to closely accompany the development of the initiated collaborations.
